Agora Barcelona International School’s Sport Centre is located within the Golf Masia Bach Residential Estate in Sant Esteve Sesrovires. The multi-purpose facilities at our exceptional sports centre form a vital part of the all-round education of our students. Here they can play sport and develop the values that go hand-in-hand with physical and sporting activities which are held in high regard at our school.

Our sports centre covers and area of 40,000 m² and incorporates all the facilities necessary to play a wide range of sports. These facilities include basketball, handball, tennis and padel courts, AstroTurf football pitches (7-a-side and 11-a-side), an indoor pool, covered sports hall, cross country and mountain biking tracks, etc. The sports centre also has an office where parents can find out information or discuss any concerns, and a cafeteria.

The facilities are located in a delightful rural setting surrounded by the Barcelona Golf Club’s golf course, with a backdrop provided by the Montserrat mountains. The benefits of playing sport are enhanced by the glorious countryside surrounding our sports centre. When attending preseason competitions for our football, basketball, handball and volleyball teams, accommodation can be booked at three hotels located a short distance away.

Pupils studying for the intermediate and advanced levels of the Sport and Leisure vocational training programme use the Sport Centre’s facilities. These courses are oriented towards career opportunities relating to physical/sporting activities, adventure activities, football training, life-saving or organising sporting activities.

Sport Centre: activities and services

Our Sport Centre offers activities for adults (swimming, aqua gym, football, Zumba, tennis, padel, etc.) that are open to parents and the general public; families of students at the college are given preferential rates for using the facilities. We organise football leagues for adults, with matches twice a week. Outside school hours, the facilities may be hired by private groups or companies wishing to make use of the football pitches, sports hall, tennis/padel courts, etc. Children who are not enrolled at the school are also welcome to become members of our sports clubs and can choose from swimming, football, tennis or paddle.
